The opening of crab season needs very little to take full appreciation of the harvest—the right mix of people, properly rigged equipment, a stable boat, harvesting only what is needed with a smoker going for the salmon on hand.

The chef and wine are simply “the occasional oyster in oyster stew, important but far from everything.”

The ethos

Sharing of food is primal as is the work to prepare it. You will be given the opportunity to participate in all activities throughout the three-day event.

As we work to acomodate the interests of everyone, encouragement will be given to participate. The choice of what to do is yours and yours alone.
